Time Flies!
I can't believe how much time has gone by since my last post! So here are some pics of things I have been working on. Lots of Needle Felted pieces that bring so much colour and texture!
Also some unusual pieces made with a mish-mash of fabric, wool and other elements! Enjoy!

Listen!
Can you Hear art?
Can fabric Speak?
If so, we should be listening!
In this piece, I quilted the background giving the feeling of an estuary. From the tall tree reaching into the sky, the sun shining in the corner, moving down to the brush and reeds, finishing in the cool pool in the foreground. This attached piece is made from wet wool felting, mimicking underwater wildlife.
As you gaze at the elements and challenge yourself to "Listen", you can hear the buzzing dragonflies, the splash of the water, the leaves rustling high in the trees.
And as you listen, what is your response?
Challenge
The Challenge is ON!!
This scene is full of the essence of Autumn.
Here it is done in Needle Felting
And here it is done in fabric using the raw applique technique.
I'm not sure which I like best, but I really enjoyed making both of these unique pieces!!

Something totally new!!
Well, I woke up with an idea that just wouldn't go away...so I made it!!
It might not seem very practical, but I think the uniqueness of it outweighs the practicality aspect!!
I entitled them 'A Marshland Story: Part 1 and Part 2'!!
